Get Your Tips Out or 'GYTO' known commonly by most of you, was created some eighteen months ago. With the social world beginning to dominate and twitter evolving as the perfect platform for sports pundits and fans alike to air their views, GYTO was created!

It was initially set up to express our thoughts regarding sports, specifically horse racing. With followers growing at a healthy speed the demand for our opinions seemed to grow and grow. An increasing amount of punters began seeking our betting angle on certain races and we found it easier to complement our daily blog with some betting insight and tips. We started out offering a limited amount of selections per day, but with a positive strike rate it progressed and we found ourselves tipping every race, every day. Of course, this is extremely challenging and it was hard for punters to gage how successful we were. Hence the development of the points system. This way, we could prove, through statistics and figures, just how profitable following GYTO could be. We understand some people are resentful of the service we provide, as they consider an individual or individuals tipping every race, every day to be comical. We have proved for well over a year now that there is a profitable method to our ways, of course punters being selective usually creates the most success. After all, an individual seeking advice on something should combine what they already know with whats being advised.

Followers were growing at a surprising rate, but our breakthrough came at Cheltenham Festival 2012. We endured a week like no other, personally the most profitable week of my entire punting career. The point system had existed since January but it was March that saw a substantial increase in profit, resulting in an explosive rise in followers! It was really rewarding for us to see GYTO grow so much, so quickly. We had put a lot of hard work into Cheltenham, attending various Pre-Cheltenham meetings where the likes of Nick Luck, Simon Clare and Paddy Brennan were all in attendance. We had studied for months prior to Cheltenham and had a variety of ante-post bets heading into the notorious four-day festival. In brief, highlights included a huge ante-post punt on Nicky Henderson's special Sprinter Sacre and the 'perfect' start with Cinders And Ashes in the Supreme Novices for Donald McCain. They were complemented with several more winners throughout the week, and it was definitely one to remember.

Success definitely brings about followers. However,  we endure bad days, even bad weeks like any other tipster/punter and it's interacting with followers day in, day out which we enjoy the most. It's what stems back to the creation of GYTO, why it exists. To share our views and our followers on a sport, sports we love. This is why we see our fan base as unique, one that we can relate to and one that can feed off our knowledge and advice. GYTO was not created as a quick money-spinner, it was created out of a sheer passion for sport, a reason why we will 'never' charge for our services!
